Actor, casting director, and filmmaker working and living in New York.

Originally from Yunnan, China, I came to the U.S. in 2014 to study Public Health at Columbia University. Upon graduation, I decided to pursue acting as it has always been my passion since I was a little kid. I was trained at Stella Adler Studio. I played the lead roles in NYC Women's Fund-winning films My Heavenly City and Yu Under Water; a lead role in What Do We Call This (Hawaii International Film Festival); and a supporting role in Same Old (Cannes Short Films Competition).

As a filmmaker, I strive to tell original stories about women that explore the complexity of humanity in varied cultural contexts. My directorial debut short film Swans of Hudson River is currently in the festival run; my second short film Sound of Fire is in postproduction.

As a casting director, I am passionate about discovering new talents. I’ve cast one feature film and more than 20 short films and student films. Commercial casting clients include Google, Sephora, Vivo, etc.
